Make fitness a lifestyle
I offer one on one fitness programmed just for you
From first time gym goers to elite athletes, I offer multiple modalities taught with expertise to ensure a personally engaging and extremely effective workout.
In 2012, I began my transition from a career in politics to a fitness professional when I earned my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher certification. Since then, I have led over 2,000 hours of classes, workshops, private lessons, and teacher trainings. Shortly afterward, I expanded my coaching abilities by earning my Personal Training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Over the past eight years, I’ve logged nearly 10,000 hours of training, and worked with a variety of populations, including pre/post natal, athletes of various backgrounds (runners/endurance, ice skaters, martial artists, etc), seniors, those managing diabetes, cancer treatment, injury recovery, or back pain, and plenty of people seeking to feel strong, balanced, and energized, each of whom have their own unique story that brings them to the gym.
My journey as a fighter/martial artist began in 2016 when I started training in Muay Thai, or “Thai boxing”. Dedicating myself to this practice changed my life forever, and I’m honored to share it with others. My competitive career included fights in the U.S. and abroad, earning gold and silver medals at the 2018 WKA World Championships in Italy, and two gold medals at the 2019 WKA Pan-Asian Championships in Thailand.
Over the course of 2021, I completed a 500 Hour Pilates training program, covering the classical method on the mat, reformer, tower, cadillac, and chair. Anyone can benefit from the strength, concentration, and grace required by this core-centered system, and it has become a staple of my programming for every client.
In addition to teaching physical movement, I value a holistic approach to every client’s individual goals and needs. Since 2013, I’ve worked as a holistic health coach after earning my certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. By examining all the areas that contribute to our well-being (career, relationships, education, spirituality, home environment, food, etc.) we can create balance between them and give attention to places we feel undernourished. This philosophy has served me well in my own life, and I see my training programs as part of a holistic system to improve and change lives.
I’ve lived in the DC area since 2008, and currently reside in lovely Mount Rainier, MD, with my husband, Brandon, my daughter, Quinn, my stepson, Eben, and my stepdaughter, Waryn.
