Pilates is a movement system that connects the mind and body through controlled movements with an emphasis on the core. Practicing this method creates symmetry in the body while increasing strength, flexibility, and body awareness.  Pilates is applicable and adaptable to all fitness levels - whether you are a beginner trying to engage your core for the first time, an elite athlete searching for ways to elevate your performance, or someone looking to alleviate back and joint pain in your daily life. My training is in the classical Pilates method, originally developed by Joseph Pilates, and includes mat, reformer, chair, cadillac, and tower.
