
YOGA
Yoga is a practice that unites mind, body, breath, and spirit. One of the things I love about this discipline is that it can be adapted for any body, and for a vast array of goals. Yoga can be a strict yet liberating practice focused on self discovery and detachment from material comforts, or it can simply be a way to combat tight muscles after prolonged hours sitting at a desk, and everything in between. Regardless of where you fall on this spectrum, you will gain greater mobility, build strength, improve mental focus, and reduce stress as a result of your time on the mat. For the past 10 years, I’ve been teaching classes, workshops, and teacher trainings in the DC area with a focus on vinyasa style yoga.
